Dublin Blog

 The final stop in this wonderful excursion was Dublin. As someone who is very Irish and grew up raised with a lot exposure to Irish heritage I was super excited for this stop. 


Even though we didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time in Dublin I was still able to experience at lot of things. 


On our last night in Dublin, my friends and I went to the famous Temple Bar. Unfortunately it was incredibly packed and hard to move around and enjoy ourselves. After taking some photos of the exterior, we moved on to a LGTBQ+ bar down the street called The George. We had a lot fun here and the music and people were wonderful. 


The next day was our travel day back to the states. Even though it was sad, we were all happy to get home to our own beds and incredibly grateful for the amazing time we had.

  London was our next stop and my person favorite location we visited. (There’s a good chance I’ll be moving here after school). Even though I loved the whole city I did have some highlights.   Our first afternoon in London after our long train ride was spent in soho. The maze of tiny streets and shops/restaurants stacked on top of each other was memorizing. My friends and I stopped at an all vegan restaurant. The food was amazing and the view from the third floor of the restaurant was beautiful. I order the vegan pulled “pork” sandwich which blew me away.  The next day we visited the Tower of London, however a friend and I left a bit early to check out portabella road the portabella market. We found tons of cute little vintage/thrift and antique shops.
